7 For All Mankind Brand Overview

7 For All Mankind was started as a denim brand in 2000. Since then, it has expanded to many types of women’s and men’s clothing. Their focus has always been on (drumroll please…) being fashion-forward AND comfortable. We LOVE.

Speaking of what we LOVE, here are our favorite (and least favorite) things about the brand.

  • Sustainable materials: 7 For All Mankind prides itself on sourcing sustainable materials and reducing water usage in its production process.
  • Flattering and trendy: One of the best things about this brand? They put fashion first. They care about producing high-quality, trendy pieces that you’ll want to wear all the time.
  • Comfortable: In all their reviews, comfort is king! 7 For All Mankind jeans are moveable and easy to wear.

Things we don’t love

  • They run big: In general, 7 For All Mankind jeans run big, so you may need to size down when ordering.
  • Expensive: These jeans are on the pricier side.
  • Limited extended sizing: The largest size they offer is 34.
  • No petite or extra long inseam lengths: You’ll want to check the inseam length on each product page to make sure it’ll work for you (especially if you’re petite or very tall).

Let’s get into the jeans!

What We Love

    • Vintage look: These jeans are made with 7 For All Mankind’s luxe vintage denim for a lived-in look.
    • Distressed details
    • Just enough stretch: This pair is made with cotton, modal, elasterell-p, and spandex for a stretchy, comfortable fit.

What We Don’t Love

    • Slim fit: If you’re looking for a loose pair of boyfriend jeans, this isn’t it! These slim jeans have more structure than your typical boyfriend jeans.

  • Two shades: They come in a classic dark blue and a vintage-inspired light blue.
  • Comfortable: Reviews rave about how comfortable these jeans are!

What We Don’t Love

  • Very low-rise: These jeans have a 7.5 in. rise, which is just below typical “low-rise” jeans. Depending on your height, they may sit in an awkward spot.

What We Love

  • High waist: These ankle skinny jeans are ultra high-rise (read: flattering!).
  • Classic black: They come in a classic, monochromatic black.

What We Don’t Love

  • Super stretchy: We love stretch denim as much as anyone, but several reviewers mention sizing down since the jeans tend to overstretch.

  • Vintage wash: We love the faded look of these jeans!

What We Don’t Love

  • Extra long: These jeans have an extra long inseam, so you may need them hemmed unless you’re on the tall side!

Specifications

    • Size Range: 23 to 32
    • Rise: 9”
    • Inseam: 34.5”
    • Leg opening: 18”
