7 Spring Outfit Ideas (+ How To Wear Jeans In Spring)

Spring has finally arrived! We’re ready to pull out our cropped jeans, linen button-downs, and sandals (isn’t everyone???). If you’re looking for spring fashion inspo, we’ve got you covered.

First, let’s start with the ultimate spring wardrobe staple: jeans.

3 Ways To Wear Jeans This Spring

Here are our favorite ways to wear spring jeans in warmer weather.

1. Cuffed

Try folding or rolling the bottoms of your jeans to give them a cropped look! This is a great way to dress down any look or draw attention to your footwear.

2. Baggy

No one likes wearing super-tight jeans when it’s warm out, so swap your skinnies for a looser-fitting pair! We recommend wide-leg jeans, straight-leg jeans, or even boyfriend jeans.

3. Cropped

Cropped jeans are perfect for spring! They’re a great option when you’re looking for something breathable but aren’t quite ready for shorts.

7 Cute Spring Outfit Ideas

Dressing for spring is all about balance. Maybe you throw on a long sleeve top and a mini-skirt. Perhaps you go for baggy jeans and a tank.

Since spring is a transition season, you can play around with SO many options in your closet.

Here are some of our favorite looks!

1. Layer away!

Spring is the perfect season for layering. Layering gives you the flexibility to add and take away layers throughout the day to cope with temperature variations. This mini skirt and blazer combo is the PERFECT example.

Pastels are for spring (sorry, we don’t make the rules). If you’re looking for a laid-back, but veryyyy seasonally appropriate fit, this is the one! Throw on your favorite loose jeans and a pastel cardigan and you’re ready for brunch with the girls.

P.S. This look is especially great if you live in a colder climate (because it looks like springtime and it’ll keep you warm).

It looks like denim maxi and midi skirts are here to stay. Style yours with a graphic tee and some fun shoes (we LOVE the heels in this inspo photo, but ballet flats or loafers would also work well).

4. Wear a floral print dress

You can never go wrong with florals in the spring. We are obsessed with this sweet, babydoll dress. If a spring dress isn’t your thing, a floral t-shirt is a great substitute.

5. Incorporate khaki

If you’re a neutrals-only girl (we totally get it), try adding some light (but still neutral) colors to your wardrobe this spring. It’s easy to lean on black and gray all year long, but incorporating khaki and white will brighten your go-to looks… Just like the trench coat and white jeans in these outfit inspiration photos!

6. Trade trousers for cargo pants

We don’t know about you, but we can’t get enough of cargo jeans right now. They’re fitted around the waist, loose in the legs, AND have plenty of pockets. What’s not to love? If you’re into the street style trend, this outfit is a must.

7. Try a denim maxi dress

Allow us to introduce you to the denim maxi dress. If you love denim maxi skirts, we have a feeling you’ll love this too. Want an alternative? Style a denim mini skirt with a t-shirt and denim jacket.
